Mr Opportunist

Lucas is an opportunist. Today, he insists that he wants to hold his dried raisin while he was eating his dinner. He said, 'Hold only'. I gave in. Then, while I was talking to the babysitter, he quietly slip a dried raisin into his mouth. I tried to explain that when he put a dried raisin into his mouth, it is called 'eating' and not 'hold only'. He is cheating if he does that. He cheekily gave me his triumphant smile. He did that 4-5 times during the meal. When I told Dominic about this, Dominic was like 'he should be punished. we should not encourage this behaviour'. I was telling myself, OK, you can come back and punish your cheeky son.
