Sports Day

The kids had their school Sports Day. Since they are in different age group, their Sports Day are different. Their house colour is blue, Falcon. Lucas was assigned to Falcon on his first day of school. By rule, younger sibling follows older sibling house colour. The first time Chloe wore her blue sports shirt she was not happy. She said, "I want red. I don't want blue".

Her face expression said it all! Her house colour won the gold medal.

Lucas house colour won the 3rd prize.

Made in China, Part 2

On the way back from Hard Rock Hotel, Lucas said, ''I only have 2 things that are not made in China. My badminton racquet is made in England and my drum sticks are made in USA'.

He is still obssessed with the made in China thingy.

Hard Rock Hotel, Again

The kids Easter break comes and goes. We spent 4 days at their favourite hotel. At the end of the fourth day, we did not talk when is our next trip to this hotel again. I suppose we have enough.
On the first day, we checked in at 4.30pm, after the 5 hour drive and visit to relative place. Dominic and I wanted to rest but the kids were persistent on going to the pool. So, we were at the pool from 5 to 7pm, had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe and were asleep by 9.30pm.
On the second day, it rained and rained, with occasion thunder and lightning. Of course, the kids wanted to go to the pool and had been pestering us. We ran out of idea on how to keep them busy and ended up giving them the iPad. The rain finally stopped at 3pm and sun came out. We wasted no time and head straight to the pool. Stayed at the pool until 7pm. There were foam party too for the kids and adults! For dinner, we for once did not eat at Hard Rock Cafe. Tried a restaurant and it was good - the food and ambiance.
On third day, after breakfast we head to the pool. By noon, all four of us had enough and were eager to go to the room. We drove out of the hotel and had lunch and dinner at new places. That's something different for a change.
On the fourth day, we had an hour at the pool after breakfast. We have to check out by noon.
The kids did not ask when are you going back to Hard Rock Hotel, and we spent an equivalent of 1 night amount of money in the Hard Rock shop. The kids have toys, shirt and drum stick to buy and Dominic has a poker set to buy.

Lucas at the water slide. We stayed in the room facing the pool. Want to go to the school, just jump off the balcony.
