Thursday was Lucas's Sports Day. A few days before the Sports Day, he asked his father:
Lucas: Dad, Thursday is my Sports Day. Parents are allowed to come. Are you coming?
Dad: I don't think so. I have to be in the office.
Lucas: Mom, are you coming?
Me: I'll try.
So, on the actual day, I took Chloe with me to his Sports Day. I thought Chloe will get excited but half way she asked to go home. The kids are divided into 4 houses, Falcon (blue), Phoenix (red), Tiger (yellow), and Dragon (green). Lucas is in Falcon. In spirit, Chloe and myself dressed in blue. They had 4 games that they had to play. The cumulative points will determine the winner. Falcon came second. Last year, Falcon was last. When we get home, I asked:
Me: Was you pleased that Mommy and Chloe went to your Sports Day?
Lucas: (gave his cheeky smile). This is my first medal ever, in my whole life! (what a drama). I won this for you and Chloe (real drama king!)
In action..
Patiently waiting for his turn. They have to settle with the Sports Day in the basketball court and badminton court this year, as the old school field has to make way for extension and the new school field is yet to be readied.
