Swimming

Lucas has been going to swimming lesson since last December and he is making good progress. He is always looking forward to his lessons and he enjoys it too. He has been taught on how to do free style, back stroke, and free or rather frog style. He knows how to sink himself to the bottom of the pool and come up. However, he does not know how to come out to breathe and go back to water, and not very good with staying afloat. Anyway, happy that he is making improvement and enjoying it.

My kids did these cards for Mother's Day.

These cards are made with the assistance of the art teacher. The top card was made by Lucas and the bottom by Chloe.

New Vocabulary

My kids' vocabulary and speech is so advanced that I have to share this.

During breakfast, Lucas did something naughty.
Chloe: kor kor has become bad-der (worse)!

In the car, Lucas as winding down the window.
Chloe: kor kor is putting his window down and down-er.

One morning when I noticed Lucas's pyjamas were a bit wet.
Me: Lucas, did you pee on your bed?
Lucas: Isn't this is better than peed on your bed?
Me: Yes, but now you have to sleep on your smelly bed tonight.
Lucas: Then, you will have to just smell me being smelly!

In the car,
Lucas: Mom, why are you getting a new car?
Chloe: Because the this car is falling apart.
Dom: That's right, the air con is not working and the car smells.
Lucas: But the car still works right? Isn't that's the most important?

One day after school,
Chloe: Mom, my friend, S has brown skin.
Me: Don't you have brown skin too, just lighter brown.
Chloe: NO, I'm peach color.
